R & A Engineering Works was founded in 1956 by the Rees and Aucot families. It was established to provide exceptional quality general engineering services, with specific focus on the mining industry.
1996
Finding our niche
The company found a niche in the supply and repair of locomotive wheels, however the service offering has continued to broaden.
2018
Forefront of the engineering market
R & A Engineering Works factory covers an area of over 20 000 m2, which includes housing stripping and assembly, welding, boring mill, lathes, painting and shot blasting sections, among others.
