Our multi-disciplinary engineering facility affords R & A Engineering Works the ability to tailor solutions and services across various sectors and industries.
Loco wheels
We manufacture tyres, centres and axles; and repair all diameter and railguage loco wheels. We also supply spares such as sprockets, gears, tyres, centres and axles for loco wheel assemblies.
Hopper wheel assemblies
We repair 2 to 50 ton hopper wheel assemblies, recondition inboard and outboard hopper wheel assemblies and manufacture new A.P. units. Spares such as saddles, straps and rubbers are readily available.
